Ever wanted to try mindfulness meditation and at the same time support teen mental health? If the answer is yes then we invite you to Commit to Sit this May!
This May (all of May), we're asking people to commit, sit and meditate every day. In doing so you're not only supporting your own wellbeing but will be helping us raise funds to support youth in our communities. We encourage everyone who takes part to let their friends, family and work colleagues know they're participating, creating an opportunity to be sponsored.
All proceeds go towards supporting the organisation to continue offering teen meditation retreats to teenagers throughout Australia.
To take part:
1. Register a profile with our everyday hero account.
2. Commit to a number of minutes (or hours!) that you will sit and meditate for every day in May (e.g. 5, 10, 15, 20)
3. Share your commitment with a friend, family member or your entire facebook community (doing so will help keep you accountable!).
4. Share our official ‘I’m taking part in Commit to Sit’ image to your social media profiles with your unique ‘donation link’.
5. Start meditating!!
